Miss Kemble is new to San Clemente High School this year and is excited to begin her first year as a Triton. She holds a B.M. in Music Education from the University of Redlands as well as a California teaching credential in music. She studied abroad at the Kodály Institute in Kesckemét, Hungary, a premier institute for music education studies, and is a member of the music honor society Pi Kappa Lambda, the Southern California Vocal Association and the American Choral Director’s Association. She has taught both junior and high school choir in the public school setting, most recently concluding a three year tenure at Laguna Hills High School, and has also served as the assistant director and accompanist at Pasadena First United Methodist Church and apprentice conductor for Mountainside Master Choral. Her choirs have toured cities all over the United States including Boston, Chicago and New York City and have won the highest honors at festivals. She is a beloved and knowledgable director with a high standard of excellence who always pushes her ensembles to their maximum potential. Her students have made honor choir and all state ensembles and received music scholarships from colleges across the country. In addition to teaching and directing, she is an active chorister who has sung with Inspiravi, a professional chamber choir based in Los Angeles, as well Mountainside Master Chorale based in Pomona, CA. Miss Kemble will be pursuing her Masters in Choral conducting at California State University, Fullerton starting this fall.

What Miss Kemble loves most about her job is her ability to mentor students and help them develop into talented and knowledgable musicians. She is very excited to be a Triton and eagerly looking forward to continuing the tradition of choral excellence at San Clemente High School!
